Our Philosophy
At Ascent Rhodesian Ridgebacks, we believe that every pet deserves to be happy, healthy and loved. We raise our puppies in the house with great care and tons of personal individual attention.
We are not a kennel, just a family who loves dogs. We have competed in scent work, rally, agility and conformation. We just enjoy the process of training the dogs to do what they enjoy. I rarely compete at events, but each of my dogs does carry an AKC title of some sort. We aren't out for the blue ribbons and I don't devote all my time to dog events. The events are something I enjoy to do with my dogs but my husband and I prefer to be out exploring new trails or new peaks (hence the name, Ascent) with our dogs.
Parents are AKC registered and health tested.
